YouTube terminates channel of fast-rising conservative political party in Spain: The YouTube channel for VOX España, a rising conservative movement that, according to Reclaim The Net, has often been described by its opponents as the "extreme-right" in Spain, has been terminated due to "multiple third-party claims of copyright infringement regarding material the user posted." As noted by Reclaim The Net's write-up on the incident, YouTube failed to identify exactly what content was in violation. False copyright complaints are a common tactic abused on social media platforms to shutdown content someone doesn't like according to Reclaim The Net. In May, a VOX member of the Spanish parliament was suspended by Twitter for stating in a tweet that "a man cannot get pregnant."
