Instagram bans conservative organization after the organization called out a dual standard of justice at the Justice Department: The America First Policy Institute's Instagram page posted about the Biden Department of Justice's two-tiered system of justice." The post read: "The Biden Administration has DISMANTLED THE RULE OF LAW IN OUR NATION." The post also highlighted that while Joe Biden's son Hunter Biden dodged a Congressional subpoena, Biden's DOJ was prosecuting conservatives like Steve Bannon for the same action, with Bannon being convicted and sentenced to four months in prison. Instagram claimed that this post violated its Community Guidelines on "fraud and deception," permanently suspended the account and set it to be deleted in the future. According to the Federalist, the AFPI was notified of the suspension at 8:49 AM, only 28 minutes after making the post. In response to public backlash, including from then Presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy, Instagram reinstated the account and claimed that the account removal had been due to a "bug in the system."
