NewsBusters captioned the post saying "Joe Biden destroyed American energy independence. Learn more: keystonedocumentary.org" Facebook claimed that the post was "missing context" and cited an AFP fact-check article that conflated the term "energy independence" with "energy isolation." MRC Free Speech America's research found that other experts and even other fact-checkers openly disagreed with AFP's evaluation of energy independence.
