MRC Free Speech America Project

In bizarre multi-layered censorship case, Facebook fact-checks post about how they fact-checked another post: The Media Research Center created a graphic that highlighted the problems with H.R. 1, an attempt to overhaul the election laws on a federal level. Facebook fact-checked the graphic, calling it "missing context" based on an AP report. The MRC wrote a story about this faulty fact-check. Free Speech America Project, an arm of MRC focused on tracking Big Tech censorship, posted this story to its Facebook page. Facebook put the same fact-check on the post of the article that destroys the very fact-check that was applied. Confused yet? It's just par for the course in the twisted world of Facebook's fact-checkers. Facebook itself has admitted that posts with fact-checks on them receive 95 percent less engagement
