Conservative political consultant removed from Twitter after sharing side-by-side image of an electoral map showing a mysterious over night surge in Biden's Michigan vote totals: Matt Mackowiak, a conservative political consultant, tweeted two images that allegedly show Michigan added approximately 128,000 votes overnight, all of which went to Joe Biden. "An update gives Biden 100% of new votes – 128k+," wrote Mackowiak in his tweet of the images. A civic integrity notice was placed on any retweets of Mackowiak's original tweet of the maps, meanwhile, Mackowiak himself was eventually booted from Twitter altogether. Civic integrity notices diminish a tweet's reach across the social media platform and force users to click through an interstitial in order to view it. Tweets garner this form of suppression because Twitter deems the information contained in the tweet is "disputed" and could mislead individuals about how to participate in an election, or other civic process.
