Photo of Biden getting booster shot fact-checked as "Missing Context": Young American for Liberty posted on Facebook an image that was widely shared on social media, of Joe Biden receiving his COVID booster shot. In the image, he is seen sitting on a stage in front of what appears to be a fake wall, made to look like it is inside the White House. To the side of the stage can be seen auditorium seating for observers and press. YAF simply said "It's all a show" when they shared the viral image. Facebook applied a fact-check label to the image, saying it was "Missing Context." This label linked to a Lead Stories article explaining that the White House was clear about where the event would be taking place, and that that this auditorium is often used for events, deflecting from the reality that he was in fact on a set, regardless of the reasoning for it or the honest about it. According to Facebook, users fail to click through fact-check interstitials 95% of the time.
