Instagram censors Libs of TikTok account: The very popular Libs of TikTok account was censored by Instagram for a short period. On April 17, 2023, users began sharing screenshots of the notice they received when attempting to follow the Instagram account. The notice that at least five different users saw said "Are you sure you want to follow libsoftiktokofficial? This account has repeatedly posted false information that was reviewed by independent fact-checkers or went against our Community Guidelines." In order to follow the account, users then had to click on the "Follow" button for the second time. By April 18, the notice was no longer being displayed. It is unclear what led to the censorship or the reversal.
