Facebook bars small business selling American themed apparel from running ads: LeeAnn Miller is the founder of PatrioticMe, an online apparel store selling American themed products. Miller received an email from the Facebook Ads Team informing her that her advertisements did not comply with Facebook's ad policies or other standards, according to the Blaze. Miller's ads included images of PatrioticMe merchandise, such as t-shirts with "USA" written on it, hoodies with red, white and blue outlines of the United States on them and other patriotic themed apparel. The ads also included the following phrases: "Loving your country shouldn't be hidden; Check out our new line of long sleeve shirts!; We have an attractive range of patriotic clothes to show that love off! 10% off on your order for a limited time!; Every time you purchase, We donate a portion of it to the tunnel to the tower foundation." Nonetheless, Facebook disabled Miller's ability to advertise and all of her advertisements and assets already paid for remained disabled. Miller attempted to appeal Facebook's decision but was denied. The Blaze reported that Miller said Facebook's actions have cost PatrioticMe 94 percent of its traffic.
