Twitter suspends account of user who said he was working to 'dispel election misinformation': "Derek Duck" was a Twitter account that, in the wake of the chaotic 2020 election, was working to "dispel election misinformation." One of the last tweets that he sent shared some reports of ballots being counted in secret in Georgia. He had also tweeted that the mysterious Michigan vote dump that went entirely for Biden was in part problematic because of an accidentally added zero one county added to their total. However, Twitter saw fit to suspend his account. He reported that he was not told why it was suspended, but it seems clear that Twitter's excuse would be for posting misleading information about voting, as he was tweeting prolifically about the aftermath of the election. No word on how long his account will be out of commission.
