Cole shared a screenshot on her X account showing Instagram's notice that read, "Take action or lose access to chooocole." The notice informed Cole that her "account has been suspended," but only noted that the "account, or activity on it, doesn't follow our Community Guidelines" without stating the specific violations. The notice further informed Cole that she could appeal the decision until February 1, 2025, and that "If you don't take action, your account will be permanently disabled." MRC Free Speech America noted that Cole's Instagram page was unavailable during the incident. Later the same day, Cole reported that her account had been restored, and MRC Free Speech America confirmed that the page was once again available. Meta did not respond to a request for comment about the account suspension.
