YouTube removes Michael Savage video, suspends his account for a week: Conservative commentator Michael Savage used a live video broadcast on X and Facebook to let his followers know that he was suspended from YouTube for a week. According to Savage, he had recently shared a video that was approximately eight years old to his YouTube account, and it was this video that led to his suspension. The video in question was a compilation video created by one of his listeners that took clips from the course of several days when Savage was talking about Christmas, the genocide of Christians by Muslims in the Middle East and some efforts to save the Christians. The video included some video clips that YouTube considers "violent or graphic content," as stated in the removal notice that users will find when they attempt to view the video that Savage shared. The original video has not been removed. As a result of receiving a first strike on his account, YouTube suspended him for one week.
