X community adds a context note to UberFacts post: Popular X account UberFacts posted, "The Colorado Supreme Court has ruled that former President Donald Trump is ineligible for the presidency under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment He will be removed from the state’s 2024 presidential ballot." The post included a copy of the relevant section from the Constitution. The X community added a note to the post that read: "Readers added context they thought people might want to know. The CO Supreme Court ruling is in “stay” until Jan 4th 2024 for Trump to seek a review from the SCOTUS, if done, then it will remain in stay until a ruling is given by the SCOTUS (top of page 9 of ruling). Here is the full ruling. courts.state.co.us/userfiles/file…" The label is part of X’s Community Notes system. X users are able to sign up as contributors to add context to posts. X owner Elon Musk recently shared that any post with a Community Note added to it will be demonetized. The Community Notes account on X also posted that notices will now be pushed to users who previously engaged with a post when a Community Note is added to it later.
