Facebook removes Donald Trump campaign ad citing its disclaimer rules: Ahead of the 2020 election, Facebook removed many of the Donald J. Trump campaign's ads, claiming that "the disclaimer didn't follow [its] policy for ads about social issues, elections or politics." This ad, part of an ad campaign that included 11 similar ads,  claimed that leftist mobs were destroying our cities, with a call to action to "send a united message that we will not stand for their radical actions any longer." It also included a short clip from a Trump speech calling out the violent mobs. It is unclear why this reasoning was claimed when the disclaimer applied to this ad is clearly viewable in Meta's Ad Library.
