The post included a photo of a very large crowd on a beach. The X community added a note to the post that read: "Readers added context they thought people might want to know. This is a photo from a Rod Stewart concert almost 30 years ago. 'On December 31, 1994, Rod Stewart performed at Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro in front of an estimated 3.5 to 4.2 million people.' listverse.com/2012/09/08/10-…" Stone also posted a screenshot of a headline that read "'Rio de Newjersio': Trump friend mocked for using Brazilian photo to lie about rally size." Stone's comment on the headline: "Liberals have no sense of humor." The label is part of X’s Community Notes system. X users are able to sign up as contributors to add context to posts. X owner Elon Musk shared that any post with a Community Note added to it will be demonetized. The Community Notes account on X also posted that notices will be pushed to users who previously engaged with a post when a Community Note is added to it later.
