Twitter censors Pro-Life Action League's tweet of a WaPo OpEd on Roe v. Wade: Pro-Life Action League's tweets are constantly censored by Twitter, and it has happened again. This time the pro-life organization tweeted an OpEd featured in The Washington Post about the possibility of Roe v. Wade being overturned. The tweet pulled out a quote from the article that read: "If it is morally acceptable to cause a human's death by refusing to keep it alive inside the womb, then it must also be morally acceptable to refuse to act to keep it alive during its dependent, infant state outside the womb." Twitter placed a sensitive content filter over the article preview. Users who have the sensitive content filter turned on while using the Twitter app are unable to view the content hidden behind the filter. Users who are using Twitter on a computer have the ability to view the material after they click through the sensitive filter. This greatly reduces the reach and engagement of tweets censored in this manner.
