Twitter locks Olivia Rondeau's account for Kyle Rittenhouse tweet: Twitter locked Timcast and The Post Millenial contributor Olivia Rondeau's account for her Kyle Rittenhouse tweet. Rondeau said according to a purported screenshot, "Since Kyle Rittenhouse is trending, let me say this again: Kyle not only rightfully defended himself, but did the world a favor." Twitter locked her account, claiming the tweet violated the platform's rules against glorifying violence. The platform required Rondeau to delete the tweet to regain access to her account. "We prohibit content that condones or celebrates acts of violence that could promote imitation of the act. We also prohibit the glorification of mass murders or genocides when protected categories have been the primary target or victims. Glorifying the perpetrators of such violence is also prohibited," the notice said. Rondeau said she appealed Twitter's decision. At publication, Rondeau's account appears to be active. It is unclear if Rondeau deleted the tweet.
