X community adds a context note to LBC's post: Leading Britain's Conversation (LBC) posted "'What is a fact is that stress is a huge cause of cancer...I think that Prince Harry has to look at his part in this.' Royal Correspondent Victoria Mather suggests to @RachelSJohnson that 'Megxit' could be part of the reason King Charles is currently unwell with cancer." The post included a video of Johnson speaking about this subject, saying that she is speaking "as someone who survived cancer, and [hers] was definitely caused by stress." The X community added a note to the post that read: "Readers added context they thought people might want to know. 'No, being stressed doesn't directly increase the risk of cancer. The best quality studies have followed up many people for several years. They have found no evidence that those who are more stressed are more likely to get cancer.' - from Cancer Research UK cancerresearchuk.org/about-cancer/c…" The label is part of X’s Community Notes system. X users are able to sign up as contributors to add context to posts. X owner Elon Musk shared that any post with a Community Note added to it will be demonetized. The Community Notes account on X also posted that notices will be pushed to users who previously engaged with a post when a Community Note is added to it later.
