X community adds a context note to Laura Loomer post: Political commentator Laura Loomer posted a screenshot purportedly showing a tweet from FL Gov. Ron DeSantis's Rapid Response Director Christina Pushaw that read "We are gonna lose every single state. Didn't realize I would work for someone this useless." Loomer added her own commentary to the screenshot, saying "Wow! Looks like @ChristinaPushaw woke up and finally decided to speak truth for the first time in her life. I agree with you, @ChristinaPushaw! Your boss @RonDeSantis is going to lose every state, and he is useless! Very useless! #Trump2024 Why did you delete this?" The X community added a note to the post that read: "Readers added context they thought people might want to know. This is a fake, digitally altered image. x.com/jeremyredfernf…" The label is part of X’s Community Notes system. X users are able to sign up as contributors to add context to posts. X owner Elon Musk recently shared that any post with a Community Note added to it will be demonetized. The Community Notes account on X also posted that notices will now be pushed to users who previously engaged with a post when a Community Note is added to it later.
