Twitter censors video a mom made after getting kicked off a United flight when her 2 year old wouldn't wear a mask: Eliz Orban shot a now viral video after she and her family got kicked off a United flight when her 2 year old daughter would not wear a mask. The video shows the father speaking with the flight attendant who is kicking them off the flight, explaining that he is complying because he is physically holding his daughter down while holding a cloth mask over her face after the girl would not allow a disposable surgical mask to be placed on her face. The flight attendant had no sympathy for this and insisted that they must leave the flight anyway. The mother explained into the camera afterward that their bags and car seat were still being sent on to their destination and that they were being told they have been permanently banned from United because of this. Twitter initially placed a sensitive content filter over this video when Orban tweeted it out. According to the Washington Examiner, a Twitter representative told the paper that "Twitter uses proactive, automated systems to detect problematic content at scale, part of our work to improve the health of conversations on the service. In the case you referenced, our automated system produced a false positive, and we’ve since resolved the issue." The sensitive filter has indeed been removed from the video.
