Rapidly growing group for COVID-19 vaccine skeptics has been deleted by Facebook: One of the fastest growing groups on Facebook for those concerned about adverse effects from the COVID-19 vaccines, has been deleted. The group, which was private, gave individuals a place to post their experiences with alleged negative side effects they received after getting a COVID-19 vaccine, according to Reclaim The Net. The group's shutdown follows Facebook's Feb. 8 updated policy implementation, which stated the platform would be adding "additional debunked claims" about COVID-19 vaccines to its list of false claims. These include, but are not limited to, claims that "COVID-19 is man-made or manufactured," that the vaccines are ineffective at preventing COVID-19 and that vaccines can cause autism. The group had over 120,000 members when it was shut down and had been growing by more than 10,000 followers per week, reported Reclaim The Net.
