Fox News host Laura Ingraham went on a tear against the radicals at the 2024 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP29), raising the alarm about the threat they pose and the need for a national U-turn under President-elect Donald Trump.
In Wednesday’s episode of the Ingraham Angle, Ingraham warned that an actual goal of the climate change cult was to “control your life including what's on your menu,” while showing videos of conference speakers spouting leftist pieties and denouncing meat and dairy consumption. Ingraham spoke to Center for Industrial Progress Founder Alex Epstein about the appalling agenda of the net zero left in America and aboard.
The videos Ingraham aired included two separate speakers calling for people to move away from meat and dairy. One speaker demanded that the world price people out of their dietary choices, saying, “The first impact of the meat tax is that people eat less meat and yes, it will make food a little bit more expensive.” Another speaker called for “transitioning away from animal protein overconsumption.”
The climate change cult poses a serious threat to the American way of life, largely due to the Biden-Harris-led Environmental Protection Agency and a coalition of states taking cues from California’s draconian zero-emissions standards. California’s standards, which will also apply to 15 other states, stipulate that “all new passenger cars, trucks and SUVs sold in California will be zero emissions” by 2035.
As if that was not enough, the Biden-Harris administration has also sought to aggressively force a national transition to electric vehicles. Beyond this, the outgoing administration has tried to crush coal and new natural gas plants that provide American energy, while taking many steps to hamstring American natural gas.
In response to the wide-eyed proposals of COP 29 activists and a New York Times video apparently embracing insect consumption for the environment, Ingraham said, “Thank the good Lord, that Trump won.” Ingraham went on to promise that radical environmental policies already embraced by the United States would be on the “chopping block” under Trump.
