MRC Business Vice President Dan Schneider ripped apart the leftist media echo chamber for trying to bury the worsening bribery scandal plaguing President Joe Biden and his son Hunter.
“I lived in China in 1988 and 1989 when the Tiananmen Square Massacre took place. This is just like Chinese propaganda media when everybody was told, ‘Don’t look here! Don’t look at this story! Only look at what we tell you to,’” Schneider told Fox Business’ The Evening Edit Aug. 4. Fox Business host Elizabeth MacDonald played a clip of MSNBC Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski whining that the Biden scandal was being treated as, er, a big scandal. She claimed the story was supposedly being “abused by Republicans and used by Fox News and other right-wing networks” to distract from former President Donald Trump’s highly politicized indictments. Brzezinski lectured viewers that Trump’s indictments — not the Biden family's corrupt business dealings with foreign entities — was the “story of the moment, probably of our” lifetimes.
Schneider called out leftist networks like MSNBC repeatedly doing public relations for Biden: “We’ve never seen the media so biased and so bent on making sure that the president gets reelected and the other one does not come back into office.” In Schneider’s perspective, “This is clear manipulation by the media and it’s consistent with what we’ve seen over and over again.” MacDonald rebuked MSNBC and others for creating an “information desert. They’ve tried to starve the American people of information they need to make informed consent.”
MacDonald is right on target. When Hunter’s business associate Devon Archer testified to Congress July 31 about the Biden family’s corrupt business dealings, both MSNBC and CNN obsessively inundated viewers with anti-Trump drivel. Between 6:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. eastern, CNN and MSNBC made a combined 759 mentions of Donald Trump, while at the same time mentioning Devon Archer just 48 times. MSNBC specifically iterated Trump’s name 461 times while mentioning Archer just a paltry 11 times.
