Twitter suspends former Treasury Department official for comparing CNN anchor to fictional movie character: Will Upton, a former public affairs official at the Treasury Department, was suspended from Twitter "in error" after he posted a tweet comparing CNN anchor Brian Stelter to "The Gimp" from the 1994 film "Pulp Fiction." Upton was criticizing Stelter for his softball interview with Biden administration Press Secretary Jen Psaki. Upton quickly appealed his temporary suspension and Twitter admitted it had suspended him "in error." Upton said in a follow up tweet that when he appealed the suspension to Twitter he "simply pointed out that comparing a public figure to a fictional movie character does not violate their terms of service."
