YouTube fact-checks GOP presidential candidate: Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy posted a video on his YouTube account August 1 called, “Vivek Ramaswamy Responds to Trump's Jan. 6 Indictment.” The video consisted of Ramaswamy's statement that the third indictment of Donald Trump was "political persecution." YouTube imposed a context label linking to a Wikipedia page that read, “On January 6, 2021, following the defeat of U.S. President Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election, a mob of his supporters attacked the United States Capitol Building in Washington, D.C.”
