Instagram censors a post from Tulsi Gabbard: Tulsi Gabbard posted an infographic on her Instagram account that read "The US federal govt has just begun implementing a centralized digital currency project (CBDC) to bring about a cashless society where every transaction we make is tracked, monitored, and controlled, thus undermining our autonomy and freedom. To protect our freedom, we must all stand together in rejecting this effort to institute a digital cashless society." Instagram applied a fact-check interstitial over the post, forcing users to click through to see the post. The interstitial noted that the post was "False Information," and linked to PolitiFact and AFP articles to support the claim. Fact check organizations such as PolitiFact have been shown to be heavily biased.
