Facebook censors Tucker Carlson post linking to interview with Jake Chansley: Tucker Carlson and the Tucker Carlson Network Facebook pages attempted to share a link to a video interview Carlson did with Jack Chansley, also known as the "QAnon Shaman" from the January 6 Capitol protest. The video was titled "Uncensored: Jacob Chansley" and the thirteen minute clip that was shared directly on Facebook was titled "Why the Left Wants Jacob Chansley Dead." The post that included the video read "They told us Jake Chansley, the QAnon Shaman, was a dangerous lunatic who deserved to be sent to prison, if not shot to death. Many believed it. But is he actually crazy? Judge for yourself." Facebook placed a fact check label on the post. When identified, the fact check was not visible on the post and was only viewable when users attempted to share the post. After clicking to share, users were presented with a warning that read "False information in this post." The label cited a PolitiFact piece titled "Evidence rebuts Tucker Carlson's claim about Capitol Police acting as tour guides to 'QAnon Shaman.'" If users chose to "share anyway," the shared post included the fact check under the post.
