Trump War Room

X community adds a context note to Trump War Room postTrump War Room, an official X (formerly Twitter) account for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, re-posted a Matt Wolking post that said "Trump’s Detroit speech: Fake union workers and inflated audience in bizarre show" and linked to an article in The Mirror about it. The Trump War Room account added its commentary to that post, saying "Unlike Ron DeSanctus, we don’t need to astro-turf and lie about a fake campaign like his. None of these patriots are paid actors. Maybe you should step away from your keyboard and actually go out into the real world to meet real people like those in Michigan." X added a label to the post that read "Readers added context they thought people might want to know.” The added context read "Matt Wolking didn’t accuse the attendees of being paid. He said they were fake union workers. Two had admitted to holding union and auto worker signs despite not being either. Additionally, Drake Enterprises where the speech was held is not represented by the UAW. nydailynews.com/2023/09/28/aut… detroitnews.com/story/news/pol…” The label is part of X’s Community Notes system.
