Tony Heller

YouTube removes another Tony Heller video, issues a warning to his account: Climate change skeptic Tony Heller got in trouble with YouTube once again. He posted a video, which is from February 2010, of a small portion of a TED Talk that Bill Gates gave in February 2010. In the video, Gates makes an odd statement that the editor of the video clip replayed multiple times with some text that expressed curiosity about what was said, and then provided a transcript of it. Gates stated what the current world population was, and what it would be heading toward. He then said, "if we do a really great job on new vaccines, health care, reproductive health services, we could lower that by perhaps 10 or 15 percent." The video insinuates that this is a statement about taking steps using those services listed as a way to reduce overall world population, which is not much of a leap given the way that he phrased it. YouTube, in a screenshot of the purported takedown notice, stated that the video violated its medical misinformation policy. Because it has been more than 90 days since his last infraction, Heller's account was issued a warning. If he accumulates 3 more violations in the next 90 days, his account would be terminated, per YouTube's policies.
