Twitter community censors TIME Magazine: TIME Magazine tweeted an article entitled, “How the Ukraine’s Dam Collapse Could Have ‘Generational’ Consequences.” However, Twitter added a warning label to the post. The header of the warning says, “Readers added context they thought people might want to know.” The label continues, “While the article is grounded and written by Ukraine experts, the headline is misleading. Chernobyl is already Ukraine's own Chernobyl, because it is a city in Ukraine.” There is also a link to Wikipedia. Despite the claim of the warning label, the context does not appear to add or clarify anything that the TIME article states. The label is part of Twitter’s Community Notes system. Twitter users are able to sign up as contributors to add context to tweets.
