Amazon puts textbook about social policy failures in America by renowned scholar Thomas Sowell 'Under Review' preventing users from purchasing digital copy: Hoover Institute fellow Thomas Sowell is a highly respected social theorist. An updated version of his textbook Vision of the Anointed, was placed "under review" by Amazon preventing shoppers from purchasing a digital copy of the book. The threat that Sowell's book would not be allowed to be sold on Amazon did not last long however, Twitter soon erupted over the possibility and as of today the book no longer appears to be "under review" and digital copies of the book are available for purchase. "@amazon has made Thomas Sowell's 'Vision of the Anointed' unavailable for purchase on Kindle," tweeted one user next to a screenshot showing the book was "under review" and unavailable to be purchased in digital form. "One of the singular thinkers of the last several decades 'de-platformed' (days after the end of Black History Month)?! Why aren't 'liberals' lifting up his voice?! Demand answers NOW!"
