Gay, black conservative activist Amir Odom censored by Instagram over his opinion on those who disagree with a homosexual lifestyle: Amir Odom is a young, gay, black conservative who told his story in a video on PragerU. He has amassed over 140,000 followers on his Instagram account, where he gives his thoughts on living a better life and on political topics, for which he has been censored multiple times, according to a screenshot that he shared with his followers. The most recent example was a post in which he answered a frequently asked question: "Amir, what are your thoughts on people who disagree with a homosexual lifestyle?" His answer began by saying, "I think it's fine. As long as you treat me with respect, I'm good." However, at the end of his post, he added, "Outside of sex, if you're talking about the 'lifestyle' as in drag queens, rainbows, high pitch voice, very effeminate...it's a no from me too. It's why I don't have many gay friends. I can't stand it half the time." Instagram sent Odom a notice that this post had been deleted because of "hate speech or symbols," according to the screenshot. The notice also stated that Odom's "account may be deleted" if he posts "something that goes against our guidelines again."
