Facebook censors Congressional Candidate: Teddy Daniels, Republican candidate for Congress in Pennsylvania's 8th Congressional District, made a point about civic action on Facebook. He posted: "The power of evil men lives on the cowardice of the good." While this is not directly addressing anything in particular, Facebook, according to a screenshot that Daniels shared on Twitter, labeled the philosophical statement as "Hate Speech." It was therefore deleted from his timeline. Daniels claimed on Twitter that over a month later he was also still prohibited from posting to Facebook because of the infraction, though the screenshot that he shared did not show this punishment. Daniels commented on the situation, saying "It just goes to show they are truly afraid of a good man who stands up."
