X community adds a context note to a TASS post: Russian state-owned news agency TASS posted "Russia has no territorial claims to Poland, Latvia or other countries on the continent, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in an interview with Tucker Carlson." The post linked to a TASS article transcribing part of the interview in which Putin said that Russia "can use military force against Poland 'only in one case, if Poland attacks Russia.'" TASS further quoted Putin as saying that is "[b]ecause we have no interest in Poland, Latvia or anywhere else." The X community added a note to the post that read: "Readers added context they thought people might want to know. Russia had no territorial claims to any part of Ukraine when it annexed Crimea, having signed a treaty recognising "the inviolability of existing borders, respect for territorial integrity and mutual commitment not to use its territory to harm the security of each other." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian–U…" The label is part of X’s Community Notes system.
