Facebook fact checks user for sharing Covid-19 meme: Facebook fact-checked a user for sharing a meme about a hypothetical worker getting the Covid-19 vaccine. The worker asks his boss to sign a liability waiver before he agrees to get the Covid-19 vaccine. "It's a statement that says that if the shot you are forcing on us in order for me to earn a living, does any harm to me, in any way, I or my family will sue you and the Company," the meme says. According to a purported screenshot, Facebook claimed the post included "partly false information" and added a notice to the user's post. The platform linked to fact check article by PolitiFact. Fact-checked posts lose exposure and are negatively affected by the platform's algorithm.
