Shemka Michelle

Twitter allegedly deleted the tweet of podcaster Shemeka Michelle: Twitter allegedly removed a tweet by Shemeka Michelle, cohost of the Cut the Bull podcast, when she tweeted about transgender Assistant Health Secretary, Rachel Levine. In response to USA Today's article naming Levine one of its "Women of the Year," she tweeted "Today is March 16th and I'd like to remind you that Levine is a man. You can't be a woman without being a female. You can't go from male to female, It's not possible. There's no such thing. Enjoy your day!," according to a screenshot tweeted by Newsweek contributor and former Georgia congressional candidate Barrington Martin II. The screenshot shows that Twitter removed the post for "violating [its] rules against hateful conduct," which doesn't allow users to "promote violence against, threaten, or harass other people on the basis of... gender [or] gender identity."
