Facebook censors users who use old, standard slang for a car's transmission: In another example of the ridiculous AI algorithm that Facebook employs in its censorship efforts, a user who runs an automotive group on the platform shared on Twitter that Facebook continues to delete user posts in his group in which the user refers to a car's transmission as a "tranny," which is a very standard, if dated, slang for the part. He even included on Twitter a copy of the dictionary definition of "tranny," in which the first definition given is "Transmission," and only the second definition included the disparaging slang word for a transgender or transvestite person.
