Twitter censors user for calling out an abusive parody account: According to screenshots tweeted by another user, Twitter suspended the account of a woman who was calling out a parody account of herself that was being abusive toward her. The screenshots were shared on October 20, 2021, and as of December 23, 2021, her account was still suspended. The tweets that Twitter claimed to be a violation of its "rules against abuse and harassment" read: "It's NOT ok for @jack @Twitter @TwitterSupport @TwitterSafety to let someone post as me talking about sucking the cock of 1 of my @Yale Advisors. How is this not a violation of @Twitter's TOS? This isn't parody. This is abuse meant to drive me to suicide. I'm not a public figure." "So @jack @Twitter @TwitterSupport @TwitterSafety finally locked the account of this monster who has been terrorizing me for weeks. This is not ok. I have been reporting every tweet, & I know you beautiful people have been too. This is not ok, @jack. I'm bawling. I'm a human being." "I want @Yal President Peter Salovey to know that this is his fault. You did this. This is the hellish nightmare that I have lived in for almost 3 & 1/2 years, b/c you refuse to tell the simple TRUTH & save the life & career of an innocent @Yale grad student & civil rights atty." The parody account, @TearsOfSarah, was also still suspended as of December 23, 2021.
