Twitter censors a video tweeted by Gov. Ron DeSantis: Florida Governor and Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis tweeted "Exposing the Book Ban Hoax." The tweet included an over hour long video that began with a produced video that discussed several myths about the so-called Florida book-banning and exposed the truth about each false claim made by the left. This part of the video included images from some of the books that had been found in school libraries in various Florida counties that were deemed inappropriate for children to see, including drawings of genitalia and people engaged in sex acts. The video then continued with a press conference hosted by DeSantis that included speeches about the issue from several parents, school board members, the Florida Commissioner of Education and a representative of the Central Florida Urban League. Twitter placed a sensitive content filter over the video. Such filters do not allow users on the mobile app who have the sensitive filter enabled on their profile, the default setting, to view the filtered content at all. On the web version of Twitter, the users must click through the sensitive content interstitial in order to view the filtered content.
