YouTube deletes video of interview with First Amendment expert discussing the problems associated with ignoring valid criticisms about election security: American lawyer and journalist Ron Coleman, who is an expert on First Amendment and intellectual property rights, appeared on Josh Lekach's "Wrong Opinion" podcast back in November 2020 to discuss why shutting down legitimate debate around election security is problematic. Coleman eventually cross-posted the video of his interview to his channel, where it was subsequently deleted by YouTube for violating the platform's rules on spam, deceptive practices and scams. YouTube also imposed a strike against Coleman's channel and threatened him with a week long suspension if he were to violate the platform's rules again. "This is completely unacceptable," tweeted Coleman. "I know it has been happening to lots of people, but I am not going to make any further investment in contributing content to @YouTube that can literally be censored for stating the truth, whether Google accepts it or not."
