Twitter censors Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene's tweets about transgender issues: Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) tweeted about Rachel Levine's response to the news that a judge issued an injunction preventing the federal government from forcing states to follow federal mandates on transgender issues. Greene tweeted "Now that I think about it. As Dr. Dick Levine advocates for 'gender affirming care' for minors, has he undergone the #WeenieChop himself? Or is he just pushing this on children?" Twitter hid the tweet behind a warning label that indicated the tweet violated Twitter's "Rules about hateful conduct," but that because "it may be in the public's interest for the Tweet to remain accessible" on Greene's official House Twitter account, the tweet was not being deleted. If a user clicked to view the tweet, it was visible with the same warning label presented above it, and users were unable to like, share or reply to the tweet. Quote tweets were allowed.
