YouTube shuts down Red Eagle Patriot's channel, claims it is "spam": BlazeTV host Elijah Schaffer tweeted purported screenshots showing that Red Eagle Patriot had lost its YouTube channel. He claimed in the tweet that the channel "was terminated on false claims by the tech giant." The screenshot showed that YouTube told the channel that its policy states "[s]pam, scams or commercially deceptive content are not allowed on YouTube." It is unclear what this is in reference to. Schaffer also noted that the channel was "a right leaning political analytics channel that focused on polls & accurate election statistics," and that it "had no strikes." YouTube typically sends a warning, and then it takes three strikes within a 90 day period before a channel is removed. This can be waived in certain egregious circumstances, but it is unclear what caused this action.
