Reddit user banned from Trans forum for accurately describing adverse health effects of taking hormones: A Reddit user was permanently banned from r/trans for a comment in which he listed the adverse health effects of biological males taking the female hormone estrogen. The comment said: "You realize that taking these medications AMAB can cause some server [sic] long term side effects like cancer and low bone marrow density (which may not sound like much but can cause a mirad [sic] of problems besides being more prone to injury) as well as cardiac atrophy and lead to depression. Look before you leap." One of the rules of the r/trans forum is "respect the Trans Community." Violations of this rule include "Anything else that the Moderation Team deems disrespectful."
