X community adds a context note to post claiming Biden won't be on the ballot in Ohio: The X account for RawsAlerts posted "#BREAKING: President Joe Biden will not appear on Ohio’s November presidential ballot, according to Secretary of State." The X community added a note to the post that read: "Readers added context they thought people might want to know. The post is missing a key part from the Ohio Secretary of State. The Democratic Party has to submit their candidate certification no later than 90 days from the election. The DNC still has time to make changes to meet the deadline which would put Biden on the ballot. x.com/electionwiz/st… foxnews.com/politics/biden…" The label is part of X’s Community Notes system. X users are able to sign up as contributors to add context to posts. X owner Elon Musk shared that any post with a Community Note added to it will be demonetized. The Community Notes account on X also posted that notices will be pushed to users who previously engaged with a post when a Community Note is added to it later.
