Twitter suspends popular account that discussed COVID-19 in rational terms for explaining some truth about natural immunity and about COVID-19 vaccines: Jeff Goldstein, a writer who tweets under the handle @proteinwisdom and has been focusing heavily on tweeting about COVID-19 and the vaccines, was suspended by Twitter. The last tweet that he wrote, which he has been encouraging his followers to share, was in response to a "'verified' and credentialed doctor and PhD from Brown University [who] was engaging in his own 'misinformation' campaign while advocating for vaccine mandates for air travel." In his blog post about the incident, Goldstein went on to describe this doctor's worry that he would catch a "breakthrough case" from an unvaccinated passenger sitting near him on a flight. The tweet that resulted in Goldstein's suspension, according to the screenshot that has been shared by others on social media at his encouragement, read: "I have durable immunity from having recovered. You're more likely to harm me than I you. Your vaccine status does not prevent you from carrying the virus. And depending on when you were vaccinated, per p 67 of Pfizer EUA, you could be shedding spike protein. This can cause injury." The tweet also included a screenshot of page 67 from the Pfizer EUA for illustrative purposes. It is unclear how long the account will remain suspended, but Goldstein has indicated that he will begin posting more on his blog and also now has plans to start a podcast as a reaction to Twitter attempting to silence him.
