Patriots Against Joe Biden

Group 'Patriots Against Joe Biden' removed from Facebook: Created by the founders of the digital news site The Scoop, the Facebook group 'Patriots Against Joe Biden' was taken down for purported "hateful," "threatening" and/or "obscene" content. "We had a strict clause in the about section of the group: This group is about peace, we reject all violence, anyone's welcome for a civil debate," said one of the groups creators and co-founder of The Scoop Steeve Strange during an interview on Russian-state media outlet Russia Today. "They still said it was extreme, they shutdown the group and they banned me from Facebook permanently, as well as the members of my team on The Scoop." Strange said that while other conservative news organizations may not take the platform's guidelines very seriously, he does. "The Scoop, we're a small organization, we're doing well but we're not big-funded media, and we need to depend on these social media companies to make money, so Cameron and I try our best to follow all of Facebook's rules, we've barely ever gotten any strikes on our pages and this was pretty much our first warning and we were taken down," Strange said. "I can't tell you anything that violated the rules." In the interview Strange went on to speculate that social media companies are using the violence that took place at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, "as cover to just purge all conservatives on social media."
