X’s Community Notes claims missing context: Author Oli London posted a video on X (formerly Twitter) Sept. 17 with the comment, "Mother rips down LGBTQI+ flag in a classroom 'I am NOT paying my tax money to support this.'" The video that London included apparently showed a mother tearing down an LGBTQ flag in a classroom and arguing with the teacher about its appropriateness. X’s Community Notes added a context graph to London's post that currently reads, “The presented video is a scripted drama. The script is revealed at the 6:25 mark on the original. tiktok.com/t/ZT8jgKrGs/.” The video has, however, apparently been removed from TikTok too. The label is part of X’s Community Notes system. X users are able to sign up as contributors to add context to posts.
