Twitter censors user for calling someone 'dude': A Twitter user was responding to another user when she got into trouble. She tweeted the following at @LisaAnnSimpson2, a trans person: "Ok, dude." Because this person identifies as a woman, Twitter found this to be "hateful conduct" and locked the user's account until she deleted her tweet. This is not the first time this exactly thing has landed a Twitter user in trouble, with musician Zuby being the most prominent example. This despite the fact that many people use "dude" as a catchall that does not imply gender.
