Megyn Kelly

Facebook censors Megyn Kelly's podcast as "sensitive content": Former Fox News host Megyn Kelly now hosts a podcast show on SiriusXM Radio. She posted the video of her January 30, 2023 show on her Facebook page, where Facebook censored it, saying "This video may show violent or graphic content." The topics covered on the show that day included the recent release of video footage from the Tyre Nichols killing in Memphis, during which she had now Republican presidential candidate Larry Elder on to discuss the case. This appearance featured Elder teasing his future plans to run for president. It is likely that Facebook censored this entire video because of the inclusion of the Tyre Nichols video footage. However, Facebook has admitted that similar fact-check interstitials that completely cover content result in users failing to click through to view the content being censored 95% of the time. Additionally, when Elder shared Kelly's post on his Facebook page, stating that the discussion covered "Tyre Nichols, the real police and crime statistics— and the possibility that [he] may run for president in 2024," the same sensitive content filter covered the video.
