Twitter community adds a context note to Meet the Press tweet:  The Meet the Press Twitter account tweeted, “WATCH: GOP presidential candidate @VivekGRamaswamy, who voted by mail in 2020, says fmr. VP Mike Pence should have implemented 'reforms' prior to certifying the 2020 election to build consensus: -Single-day voting on Election Day -Paper ballots -Government-issued ID.” The tweet included a video clip from Meet the Press when Vivek discussed this opinion. Twitter added a label to the post that read "Readers added context they thought people might want to know.” The added context read "The Vice President in his capacity as President of the Senate does not have the power to introduce legislation to the Senate." The note also included a link to support the claim. The label is part of Twitter’s Community Notes system. Twitter users are able to sign up as contributors to add context to tweets.
