Instagram censors Matt Walsh: Daily Wire commentator and show host Matt Walsh posted a video clip on Instagram. The caption reads, “You absolutely never see videos like this with the races reversed. Never. Doesn’t exist. At some point we need to discuss why this kind of violence literally always goes one way. Everyone is always calling for an ‘uncomfortable conversation about race.’ Well here it is.” The video is obscured with a sensitive content filter. The filter warns, “This video contains content that some people may find upsetting. See why.” Instagram’s Community Guidelines prohibit inappropriate content such copyrighted materials “nudity” or “sexual intercourse.” However, clicking the words “See why” shows a message that admits, “This post doesn’t go against our Community Standards, but may contain images that some people might find upsetting.” Walsh’s video itself reposts a video with the text, “Yay we get active,” showing a white woman being attacked by a group of black teenagers. Instagram provided no further clarification on what might have upset viewers.
